Sunday 8th November-Sunday 15th November

Laying of a wreath and display of the National flag
to honour Polish Service Men and Women
who died for the defence of freedom in WW II

At the Polish shrine, St John the Baptist Cathedral
In 1947 nearly 250,000 men and women from the Polish Army, Air Force and Navy were offered British citizenship in recognition of the vital support that they had given the nation during the war… both in the UK and other theatres of War. This commemoration (under Covid-19 restrictions) honours those brave men and women who fought for our freedom and especially to those who lost their lives. We owe them so much.
