Our event celebrated International Children's Day and featured singing, music and an exciting "Super Samoloty" (Super Planes) competition. And of course there were refreshments with traditional Polish cakes, all homemade and delicious.

We watched a charming short film about life in a Polish village in 1936 and then enjoyed a wonderful concert led by Izabela Tomaszewska, showing-off the skills of her talented young people’s choir with solo instrumental performances which captured the spirit of Poland's musical heritage combined with more international favourites. The face-painting booth run by Jolanta Pacek did a roaring trade !

It was a very happy afternoon attended by ninety young people and their families and other supporters of the NPHG who all joined together to sing "Miała Baba Koguta" for the finale.
